Subcon is an international show for the latest technology and the finest manufacturing services in the world dedicated to contract and subcontract manufacturing.

The event offers the opportunity to speak with hundreds of suppliers and discover new subcontracting solutions or manufacturing techniques you have never had before.

Subcon 2013 and Advanced Manufacturing broke all records with a significant 64 per cent increase in visitor numbers. The UK’s only exhibition of its kind ran alongside the new Advanced Manufacturing Show and The Engineer Conference. Organisers were understandably delighted that over the duration of the show, more than 4,100 visitors pitched up at Birmingham’s NEC.

The opportunity to meet and compare the best suppliers from both the UK and around the world attracted top-level decision makers from right across British manufacturing.

With some of the latest technologies and services in the market on show, the cluster of events attracted senior buyers, production engineers, supply chain managers, strategic sourcing teams, designers and engineering directors from sectors that included aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, medical equipment, energy, electronics and machine building.

A significant number of orders have been placed and exhibitors report high levels of good-quality enquiries.  Furthermore, 57% of space has already been rebooked for Subcon 2014 which returns to the NEC in 2014 from 3-5 June with high expectations of another great show. The Advanced Manufacturing Show is set to be held alongside Subcon again in 2015 from 2-4 June.

Simon Jones, CEO of PRV Engineering, has been a long time supporter of the event and said; “We first attended Subcon six years ago and have had a stand at the show ever since.

“We feel that by being part of Subcon, we can showcase our advancement, our new products, our equipment and development. And I am looking for a certain type of customer to add to our portfolio.
